"Soft Tissue Damage" Doesn't Necessarily Mean it's Minor

The driver of a car hit in a rear-end collision with a tractor-trailer, even at low-speed, doesn't usually end up with a catastrophic injury. A rear-end collision such as this can, however, result in injuries such as a herniated cervical disk or even whiplash from the force of the impact.

I represent a client who had just this experience. My client was rear-ended by a semi- truck while sitting at a traffic light. The impact of the crash knocked his hat and glasses off his head and into the back of the vehicle while snapping his neck back against the headrest.
