How much is my case worth?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions at the outset of our representation. We resist the temptation to express opinions of value at an early stage. In cases involving injuries, the value will be substantially affected by a number of factors, including the extent of your injury and recovery; your economic losses, such as wages, household assistance and medical expenses, past and future; your need for future medical care or surgery; your physical limitations; and the extent of your general damages, including pain and suffering, scarring, loss of enjoyment of life, etc. In many injury and death cases, we may need professional evaluations from experts such as accountants, economists, rehabilitation experts, grief counselors or psychologists. We will work closely with you to prove your damages. However, attempting to calculate them before our investigation is completed is not practical or wise.
