Jim Key had alot to celebrate with co-workers and friends recently. Click here to read the entire article. He was pulling out of the parking lot at Auto Pros. Inc in Winter Haven where he works when a car slammed into him. He remembers "flying through the air" and then nothing. Although he suffered serious injuries, Key is a very fortunate man. Many motorcycle crashes result in fatalities. The accident slashed the skin and muscle of his right leg below the knee, virtually severing it. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital where he endured 30-40 hours of surgery to re-attach the muscle to the bone and rejoin the main artery. Key won't be able to walk for another 6 months, but is happy to be alive. The hit-and-run driver was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injuries.
