In a pedestrian accident that involved a motorcycle striking a person walking across Starkey Road near Park Boulevard in Seminole ended in a tragic death. Lowell Schissel of Largo was walking with his wife trying to cross Starkey Road when he was struck by Randel Allen Toombs on his motorcylce. Toombs was taken to the hospital in crictical condition from the accident as well.
The report says that the couple were not using the crosswalk and may have violated the right of way.
