"The Five Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Florida Accident Case is a must read for anyone that has been injured in a accident in Florida!"

My case was handled courteously and professionally. All of my questions were answered promptly and I never felt anything I was concerned about was un-important. Judi always had answers and took the time to explain. She was always on top of my case when I called the office.

I really appreciated the fact that Mr. Dodson hired a professional expert to measure and make an evaluation about the place where I fell. The whole process was handled very well. Both Judi and Mr. Dodson were very nice and my experience working with them was professional.

I would recommend Jim Dodson to anyone I knew who was in need of a personal injury attorney.

"I recommend the Law Office of James Dodson.  They were always able and available when I had questions.  They even got me more than I expected right when I needed it most.  I am exceedingly grateful to have had this wonderful group of people helping and getting what we deserve."

Pedestrian Dies in Collision on U.S. 19 in Pasco County | Pasco County Pedestrian Collision Attorney

Geraldine Ford, a 53-year-old grandmother died in a pedestrian crosswalk collision on U.S. 19 near Moog Road on Friday night, in Pasco County.

Florida Highway Patrol officers are asking for public help in their investigation. Ford was struck by two cars, while in the crosswalk,  as she attempted to cross the busy road. One vehicle is described as a dark-colored pick-up truck, traveling north on U.S. 19.

Although details of the hit and run accident are unclear, it was reported Ford was using the crosswalk when she was struck. NHTSA pedestrian accident data reports a decline in pedestrian collisions over the past several years however,  the state of Florida, along with California, Texas and New York, leads the nation in pedestrian accident fatalities.

Pedestrian deaths often happen in urban areas and most frequently on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings. U.S. 19 is a   very high traffic, multi-lane highway and caution must be used by motorists particularly while driving at night.

The Florida Highway Patrol has little information to go on. We hope someone will come forward to help with this accident investigation.
