Lakeland Man Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Crash
What: motorcycle crash with carWhere: Lakeland | Camphor Drive | Clemons Rd.
Who: 24 year-old man | 17 year-old driver of Lexus
A 24 year-old Lakeland motorcyclist died in a motorcycle crash when he was hit by a car, a 1999 Lexus, driven by a 17-year-old driver.
A news article reported the motorcyclist was southbound on Clemons Rd. when the driver of the Lexus entered his path while making a left turn onto Clemons Rd. The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, tried to apply his brakes, overturned his bike, and slid into the side of the Lexus. He died at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
