"The Five Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Florida Accident Case is a must read for anyone that has been injured in a accident in Florida!"

My case was handled courteously and professionally. All of my questions were answered promptly and I never felt anything I was concerned about was un-important. Judi always had answers and took the time to explain. She was always on top of my case when I called the office.

I really appreciated the fact that Mr. Dodson hired a professional expert to measure and make an evaluation about the place where I fell. The whole process was handled very well. Both Judi and Mr. Dodson were very nice and my experience working with them was professional.

I would recommend Jim Dodson to anyone I knew who was in need of a personal injury attorney.

"I recommend the Law Office of James Dodson.  They were always able and available when I had questions.  They even got me more than I expected right when I needed it most.  I am exceedingly grateful to have had this wonderful group of people helping and getting what we deserve."

2009 Florida Traffic Accident Statistics by County

46 of the 67 counties in the state of Florida saw a decrease in the number of traffic accidents in 2009. When comparing the Florida traffic accident statistical data for counties, you should take into consideration the size of the population as a factor for the number of incidents. Generally, the higher the population of a county, the higher the number of incidents due to the higher volume of drivers and traffic.

Between 2008 and 2009 Miami-Dade remained the highest populated county in the state and reported 1,132 fewer traffic accidents this year with a total of 42,244. The second largest county, Broward, reported 25,957 traffic accidents in 2009, a decrease of 460 incidents. The smallest county in Florida, Liberty County, actually reported an increase from 69 traffic accidents in 2008 to 75 in 2009.

Other counties reporting an increase include Alachua, Bay, Calhoun, Citrus, Dixie, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Glades, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Martin, Monroe, Okaloosa, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, and Wakulla.

The statewide average of crashes per 1,000 population comes to 12.53 with the city of Miami contributing the high end of 22.97 crashes per 1,000 people (9,590 crashes at a population of 417,451), and Palm Bay contributing the low end of 4.76 crashes per 1,000 people (487 crashes at a population of 102,397).
