15 Passenger Roll-Over Accident | Florida Auto Accident Lawyer

A 15 passenger van, en route to North Carolina from Homestead, Florida, ran off I-95 and overturned injuring 10 people.
The driver of the van, 23-year-old Donato Flores may have fallen asleep at the wheel, investigators say. The crash occurred at 7:30 a.m.
Nine of the passengers were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries - very fortunately. A supervisor at the hospital reported 3 of the passengers were admitted.
This crash could have, potentially, had disasterous consequences - simply due to the notorious design limitations of the 15 passenger vehicle - combined with a driver who may have fallen asleep while driving. Falling asleep while driving contributes to 100,000 car crashes, 71,000 injuries and 1550 fatal injuries every year.
Pulling over at a rest area along the highway is the best option when making those long distance drives, and share the driving responsibilities with another passenger when fatigue sets in.
